Robust light grid for finger and hand protection
Light grids PSENopt II help to safeguard interventions in the production process. Depending on requirements, they provide finger and hand protection and are suitable for applications up to PL e in accordance with IEC/EN 61496-1/-2. As the units are so robust they provide protection against shock, collision or vibration, even in rugged industrial environments.
The light beam devices are available in lengths from 150 mm to 1800 mm. PSENopt II can be connected directly to the PDP67 due to the 5-pin connection. Compatible accessories range from the laser through to bracket kits.
PSENopt II now also available as a Type 4 light grid!
A Type 4 version of the PSENopt II is now also available. This is suitable for applications up to PL e in accordance with IEC/EN 61496-1/-2. As the units are so robust they provide protection against shock, collision or vibration, even in rugged industrial environments. The operator can evaluate the essential causes and system defects responsible for the machine stop by means of the LEDs. This reduces downtimes. PSENopt II can be installed quickly and simply using fitting aids. The absence of dead-zones enables flexible installation with enhanced safety. PSENopt II can be connected directly to the PDP67 due to the 5-pin connection, so offering a complete, safe solution.

Applications of PSENopt II
Protect your workers and your capital goods with the light beam devices PSENopt II! The light beam device protects the danger zones with an invisible protected field of infrared beams. If the light beam is interrupted, a safe shutdown command is issued immediately.
In accordance with IEC/EN 61496, PSENopt II light grids are suitable for Type 3 applications with Category PL d or Type 4 applications with Category PL e:
